The first adventure in this fresh and fun pony-club series for all girls who love horses.

Issie LOVES horses and is a member of the Chevalier Point Pony Club, where she looks after her pony, Mystic, trains for gymkhanas and hangs out with her best friends.

When Issie is asked to train Blaze, an abandoned pony, her riding skills are put to the test. Can she tame the spirited new horse? And is Blaze really out of danger?

This is a fast-paced, action-packed new pony series for all girls aged 8-12.

Amber Dawson, 10, reviews:

Mystic and the Midnight Ride is the very first book in a series called Pony Club Secrets by Stacy Gregg. Stacy Gregg is one of my FAVOURITE authors and I LOVE this series! I have already read most of the books in the series and this is probably one of the saddest books. All of these books are about horses and ponies so if you are pony–mad then step this way!

Mystic and the Midnight Ride is about a girl who loves horses and has her own-a dapple grey called Mystic, but then something happens to her pony and Issie is devastated. Her riding instructor then asks her to care for an abandoned pony called Blaze and Issie says yes without her mum’s permission.

This is a really good book, especially for pony-mad girls, such as myself! My favourite part was when Issie’s ghost pony came to Issie in the middle of the night to tell her that Blaze, the abandoned pony was being stolen and Issie asks her riding instructor for help. If you like this book then you’ll be delighted to know there’s a whole series you can follow.

My favourite character is Natasher Tucker, a spoilt brat who owns VERY expensive horses.
