British Library Wi-Fi Service Blocks Shakespeare’s Hamlet for Containing ‘Violent Content’

The British Library’s Wi-Fi service blocked a reader from opening Shakespeare’s Hamlet because it contained ‘violent content’.

The British Library later tweaked the filter to allow access to the site and defended itself by saying it wanted to protect children visiting the library from harmful content.
